Wondering how to disable Reddit's new hyperlinks in comments (the ones with the magnifying glass or sometimes people say a "Q"?)
Turns out you're not alone: many people are wondering the same about these contextual links that are automatically placed.
By the way, they look like this:
Why did the inline hyperlinks with magnifying glasses appear in Reddit comments recently?
This is a new feature they just released. You can hide it / remove it / disable it using an extension made for this.
Not to worry! To answer this question, let's look at the quickest way to get rid of it:
1. Get the Chrome extension here (best and fastest option - after searching for hours trying different things, this actually worked.)
2. Toggle on the extension. If you use Incognito mode, you can enable that in the extension settings, too.
3. You're done! That's it. :-)
Anyway, I hope this quick and straightforward tutorial + solution helps you.
Now, back to a normal browsing experience!
